Getting Started
Everything the app actually does.
This is the product, not a roadmap. Reports are the only part sold as Lifetime Pro. The rest is the app.
The ledger
Every account, in one place.
Record what comes in, what goes out, and what you move between your own accounts. A transfer stays a transfer.
Accounts
Start with cash, a bank, an e-wallet, or savings. Add account types when your setup needs them. Each account keeps its own balance.
Transactions
Amount, account, category, and date always stay on the form. Add a name, a note, labels, a receipt photo, a split, installments, or the exact time when you want them.
Categories
Group income and spending your way, including subcategories. A few built-in categories stay protected so the basics cannot be deleted by accident.
Quick presets
Turn on presets and fill a common expense without typing it from scratch again.
The month
See the month while it is still this month.
Home can speak in plain language, or in the usual finance labels. Budgets, goals, cards, and notes sit next to the ledger.
Dashboard
Simple mode says “Money you have” and “Spent this month.” Detailed mode shows net worth, assets, and liabilities. The amounts are the same books, with a different voice.
Calendar
Look across the month at what you recorded and what is still scheduled.
Budgets
Give a category a limit and watch spending against it.
Goals
Name something you are saving for and track how close the balance is.
Credit cards
Track card purchases and installments when a payment is spread across more than one statement.
Notes
Keep a note beside the numbers when a figure needs a story.
On this phone
The books stay on the device.
Kaizen Finance is offline-first. The ledger is a database on your phone. There is no Kaizen account to create.
Works without an account
You can record money with no sign-in. Google is optional, and only for a backup you choose to make.
Local backup
Create, export, or restore an archive on the device. Open Settings, then Backup & sync, then Local Backup.
Google Drive
Connect Google and keep a copy in your own Drive. Quick Sync can back up changes when you turn it on. A sample workspace is never uploaded.
Password and fingerprint
Set an app password, then unlock with fingerprint or face on phones that support it. The app locks when you leave it. There is no email reset, because the password never leaves the phone.
Reminders
Local reminders for daily logging and for bills that are due.
Make it yours
Language, currency, and the home screen.
The app is available in English, Filipino, and Spanish. This website is in English.
Language
Choose a language on first launch, or later in Settings. The choice is saved on the device.
Currency
Pick the currency you use for totals and new accounts. Add another currency later, and control signs, decimals, and amount colors.
Appearance
Follow the phone’s light or dark appearance, or choose a palette and keep it.
Android widgets
Add Quick Expense, Quick Income, or Quick Transfer. Wider widgets cover more than one action, plus monthly cash flow, net worth, and budget progress.
Scheduled transactions
Repeat income, an expense, or a transfer. Each occurrence can post by itself or wait until you confirm it. Pause, end, or archive a schedule without deleting what already posted.
Pro
The reports, bought once.
The ledger, budgets, goals, backups, and lock are part of the app. Lifetime Pro unlocks the reports. It is a one-time Google Play purchase, not a monthly plan.
Financial reports
Cash flow trends, balance sheet comparisons, net worth growth, and expense breakdowns.
Tied to your Google account
Pay on Google Play, then use Restore Purchases on another Android device signed into the same account. The unlock is also saved on the phone, so the reports still open offline.
No ads and no analytics
The app does not show advertising and does not ship an analytics SDK. Pro is the reports, not a fee to hide ads.
